![]() ![]() ![]() I don't know how reviewers went less than that to be honest. I think any Trek fan of the 90's era will really enjoy this game. Other than that 1 bug I experienced, the game was pretty well polished. I had to restart the chapter and try again, but I only lost 5 minutes of my time to be honest when this happened. I suspect it was only supposed to tap one, which is what blocked me. When I tapped the screen, it accidently selected 2 buttons at the same time. I'm pressing everywhere on the screen and nothing happens. I came across a bug in the game where Carter is supposed to touch a screen to diagnose what happened to a shuttlecraft. Looking at the narrative that I built, I don't know how it could have ended any other way than how it did. I too am not sure how different the narrative would be if I had chosen other options, but the game still does a good job making you think your choices mattered. I came across a bug in the game where Carter is supposed to touch a I just finished the game and I think it's very good. I just finished the game and I think it's very good. As long you are a fan of Star Trek games and Telltale's games I can honestly say that I think you're gonna have a great time with this one. ![]() I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent in the game. But it doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the game imho. Every once in a while you'll come across a puzzle that they don't really give you a very good indication of what it is you're supposed to be doing. It's mostly there to move the plot along. The gameplay is basically like any Telltale game. He sounds nearly identical to Leonard Nimoy. Who ever it is that they got to take on the task of portraying Spock did an amazing job. ![]() It has a very interesting story, better than some of the new Star Trek series if you ask me. This is most definitely one of if not the best Star Trek games I've played in a long long time. He sounds nearly It's not often Trekkies get any video games. Tl dr: you're better off watching a playthrough on YouTube than wasting your money on this. It's not often Trekkies get any video games. The puzzles are simple and mostly just a break from the story and the minigames like flying a shuttle or firing a phaser are not nearly as exciting as you'd expect them to be. The gameplay is really bad, made of many stupid minigames that don't feel good to play and mostly ruin the narrative flow of the story. The characters are okay, alternating between the outsider first officer and a Boimler-like lower deck engineer, which is great to present the classic A/B plots and keep everything intertwined but neither are particularly interesting. The plot seems to come from a generic sci-fi story with Trek elements added to it, so much so it relies on space anomalies to cripple the ship's abilities and universe technologies from being used. Mind you new does not mean innovative or necessarily creative, this feels like the same kind of story that you would find in out Trek games like Hidden Evil. That said, I do not recommend it unless you're a big Star Trek fan desperate for a TNG-era style story that is new. This game is fine, it's not particularly bad or good. ![]()
